Community Rewards programs through businesses are simple, effortless ways that you can contribute to Sundborn on a regular basis.
We are fortunate to be part of fundraising programs through three different businesses that we know many of our families frequent—Fred Meyer, Amazon, and the First Alternative Co-op—who will donate some amount to our school, at no additional cost to you, through the purchases you’re already making.
The Fred Meyer community rewards program donates up to $625,000 per quarter to non-profit organizations in Alaska, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Sundborn gets to be a part of that when you link our school to your rewards card. This means that after the initial setup, which just takes a couple minutes, Sundborn will earn money back on every purchase you make, and you don’t have to do anything outside of your normal grocery shopping routine.
Our non-profit number for this program is TV427.
AmazonSmile is the second program, and it gives us 0.5% of every qualified purchase you make. After setting your account up to support Sundborn, simply purchase through smile.amazon.com, and Sundborn sees the benefit. AmazonSmile carries the same products, at the same prices, as the regular Amazon that we all know and love, with the added benefit of donating to Sundborn Children’s House in the process.
Our non-profit name for this program is Montessori Foundation of Washington.
The third and final program is through a smaller business—the First Alternative Co-op in Corvallis. The Co-op donates $1,000 per quarter, divided, to local schools, and Sundborn is one of those schools.
